Over the holidays, I had the opportunity to meet Jeff Maziarek. He  is an inspirational speaker and author in Chicago. His first book, Spirituality Simplified, is an easy-to-understand work that provides an ideal starting point for anyone with a sincere desire to pursue a path of personal and/or spiritual growth.

Jeff's spiritual growth philosophy is based upon the works of many of today's most respected personal/spiritual growth authors, including Alan Cohen, Deepak Chopra, Anthony DeMello, Wayne Dyer, Louise Hay, Dan Millman, Eckhart Tolle, Neale Donald Walsch, Marianne Williamson and Stuart Wilde.

As I look around my own bookshelves, I have a good number of books from these authors! Jeff has taken "the best of the best" content gleaned from a broad mixture personal/spiritual growth books that he has read. What the book does best is showcase Jeff's  own thoughts, as well as others, that permit readers to digest and make sense of them in any way they wish. It is not merely a collection of the author's sayings and anecdotes, but rather a penetration of our lifestyle and how we can deepen our knowledge in improving it as we embark upon the path to spiritual growth.

The book  is rooted in the concept that each individual is personally responsible for creating the entire substance of their lives.  As the author concludes, there is no easy path to spiritual growth, as there are no set of rules that will provide you with all of the answers. It is up to you to discover your inner truth and to formulate your own spiritual philosophy. -  Jeff also offers a great daily newsletter that you can sign up for! Send him a note with "subscribe" in the subject line, and he will add you his personal list!
