Your life is your practice... so why not make it integral?

It's no secret that Zaadz, as a company, has been influenced by integral thought.

"We also believe we've grown as a result of this integral approach. So, we're happy to pass on a little gift from one of our sponsors, in hopes that you might benefit, too.

(You'll be in good company—Deepak Chopra, Marianne Williamson, and Caroline Myss have all worked to promote integral thought, and such influencers as John Mackey and Al Gore have expressed their appreciation for the approach. Endorsement by an Oscar-winner! Now that's something.

We know. Integral theory has a bit of a reputation for being heady and academic (though I think it's safe to say that we're proof that the concepts and practices don't have to be too intellectual . Instead of going on about the more theoretical side, though, we have the opportunity to give you a sneak-preview of a forthcoming book from Shambhala Publications that shows how integral thought can help support, in a practical way, all areas of your life.

If you visit this page, you'll be able to download, for free, the first few chapters of "Integral Life Practice: How to Design Your Own Training Program for Body, Mind, and Spirit." It's a great introduction to setting up an ILP—a practice that includes all components of human development, from the physical to the spiritual and the personal to the collective. It's a neat idea: you get to learn what integral means by living it, not by getting lost in theory."

You can find out more details by following the link, but in short, it's a pretty wonderful concept. Most programs focus exclusively on one area of your life (goal setting, let's say, or managing your emotions, or bettering your diet or your endurance or developing your spiritual practice), but an ILP consciously incorporates every area.

Best of all, it's completely open as to HOW you'd like to develop each modality. The practice (like Zaadz doesn't care whether you're a runner or cyclist or yoga practitioner; whether you follow Buddhism or Science of Mind; whether you're a vegan or into macrobiotics: what matters, from the integral perspective, is that you're not neglecting any aspect of you who really are—physically, psychologically, and spiritually—and, even more, that you're supporting your development across this entire spectrum.

Create a life by design....Live a life by design!
