The ASSOCIATED PRESS announced  yesterday  illusionists Siegfried Fischbacher and Roy Horn are hinting they may reappear on stage, after 4 years of retirement. These two men have lead inspiring lives and if this in facts happens, it'll  be truly something special I am sure! 

The German-born performers’ long-running “Siegfried & Roy” production ended in October 2003 in Las Vegas, when Horn was critically injured on stage by a tiger.
Asked whether they’ll return to show business, Horn told the Las Vegas Review-Journal: “A good magician never lets the cat out of the bag. Act surprised when you hear about it.”
Fischbacher added: “It’s all in the experimental stage, conceptual.”

The tiger sank its teeth into Horn’s neck and dragged him off stage in front of a horrified audience at The Mirage, ending one of the most successful shows in Las Vegas history.
Fischbacher, 68, said retirement has had its hurdles.

“The stage is my life. It took some adjustment. I was really not ready for it,” he said.
Fischbacher said he marvels at Horn’s dedication to making a full recovery. Horn’s regimen includes rehabilitation every day and visits to an athletic club three days a week, including games of racquetball.
“It cheers me up,” Fischbacher told the Review-Journal. “All the doctors say what he’s doing now is impossible. I’ve always said, ‘I am the magician and Roy is the magic.’ And Roy shows me every day the magic — the magic of life.”

Horn, 63, gets a boost from visits to his family of animals at Siegfried and Roy’s Secret Garden at The Mirage, including Montecore, the white tiger that attacked him.
“I hang out with my lifesaver,” Horn said.

Horn and Fischbacher remain convinced that Montecore sensed Horn was having a mini-stroke and was dragging him to safety, rather than attacking him.
