I first read this about 5 years ago. I had a really, really good friend that all of a sudden didn't want to be friends any longer. She would not return phone calls and avoided me. With no explanation.
Someone told me about this. That people are in our lives, "For a Reason, or a Season, or a Lifetime," and we have to accept that fact and understand that sometimes the relationship is not permanent. It's not meant to be. People will come and go throughout our life.
I was telling someone about this the other day, and they had never heard of it - so I thought I would share this link, for those unfamiliar with the piece.
