Did you know that something as simple as colors that surround us can influence our happiness and feelings?
I was in someone's house the other day and it was lots of beige and lots of white. Very sterile. Very minimalist. Which can be fine. But all of the walls were blank. It was STARK!
By surrounding yourself with color, it can make your space feel more soothing; more warm; more happy! Your space should be your sanctuary. At the very least, even if you do not want to use color, decorate it a little with something on the wall. Or perhaps pictures in frames on tables. Your space should say something about you.
A room filled with color can evoke feelings of warmth and happiness. By harnessing the power of color in our environments, we are then able to fashion not only our literal, physical environment, but also create a habitat that fosters beauty and fulfillment of spirit and soul. When color is applied in a space, it can play an enlightening and supportive role, positively impacting the overall well-being of the individual.
An interior color scheme can give a room a sense of well being or it can be oppressive. The colors in your home are an expression of the individuality of the people who live there and a matter of personal taste, but sometimes people feel anxious about choosing the paint color in their home for fear of making a costly error. In fact, color is the most economical way of transforming a room.
Your home is your canvas so have fun painting. Make it YOU! It's your sanctuary!

I've been into different houses and I realized some of the most colorful house i've visited really is so uplifting and happy maybe because colors are quite attractive and pleasing to the eyes. Indeed, colorful houses project a positive aura that lightens up heavy emotions and surprise the beholder every time.
In fact, when people get to stressed they tend to go on vacation to see beautiful scenery. This is exactly the point in having a colorful wall paintings and rooftops and all those colorful portraits hanging on your walls , to have something pleasant and exquisite to look at when you get home from work so tired. This is a great way to entertain yourself and forget about work-related problems.
