Remembering John Hughes

I just read about John Hughes passing today. He was just walking along and dropped dead of a heart attack.
So MANY great memories....National Lampoon's Vacation; Ferris Bueller's Day Off; Weird Science; The Breakfast Club; Some Kind of Wonderful; Sixteen Candles; Pretty in Pink; Planes, Trains and Automobiles; Uncle Buck; Home Alone and its sequel Home Alone 2: Lost in New York.
Some would call them lame comedies. But for many of us, his comedies were about "life stuff" and had great meaning.
While poking around the internet I found this cool blog called We'll Know When We Get There. It's a neat blog by a lady named Alison Byrne Fields. And she recounts the days when she was growing up and actually became a pen pal with him, for a number of years! The blog post, was just put up yesterday, and has already generated 800+ comments!
Read this great tribute/story about this very cool director / producer John Hughes.

This is a great blog that you have here. I have a blog myself that inspires people as well. I was wondering if we could do a link exchange. We have to stick together.
