Blackfish – the Movie Sea World DOES NOT want you to See

We have talked about THE COVE – where A group of activists and filmmakers traveled to the small village of
Taiji, Japan, to secretly obtain footage of a heavily guarded operation
that captures  dolphins for SEA WORLD  and then  kills the rest of the captured  dolphins to use as meat. Meat full of MERCURY that is now killing people that eat it.
NOW Gabriela Cowperthwaite’s documentary Blackfish
follows Tilikum, the orca responsible for three deaths while in
captivity, including the 2010 death of Dawn Brancheau, a 40-year-old
trainer at SeaWorld, which made headlines around the world. It looks
devastating to an entertainment industry bent on putting these creatures
in tiny pools, and should be.

The documentary premiered at Sundance and is due for theatrical release next month.

New Cancer Study from John Hopkins and the Importance of Diet

1. Every person has cancer cells in the body.
These cancer cells do not
show up in the standard tests until they have multiplied to a few
billion. When doctors tell cancer patients that there are no more cancer
cells in their bodies after treatment, it just means the tests are
unable to detect the cancer cells because they have not reached the
detectable size.

2. Cancer cells occur between 6 to more than 10 times in a person’s lifetime.

3. When the person’s immune system is strong the cancer cells will be
destroyed and prevented from multiplying and forming tumors.

When a person has cancer it indicates the person has multiple
nutritional deficiencies. These could be due to genetic, environmental,
food and lifestyle factors.

5. To overcome the multiple
nutritional deficiencies, changing diet and including supplements will
strengthen the immune system.

6. Chemotherapy involves
poisoning the rapidly-growing cancer cells and also destroys
rapidly-growing healthy cells in the bone marrow, gastro-intestinal
tract etc, and can cause organ damage, like liver, kidneys, heart, lungs

7. Radiation while destroying cancer cells also burns, scars and damages healthy cells, tissues and organs.

8. Initial treatment with chemotherapy and radiation will often reduce
tumor size. However prolonged use of chemotherapy and radiation do not
result in more tumor destruction.

9. When the body has too much
toxic burden from chemotherapy and radiation the immune system is
either compromised or destroyed, hence the person can succumb to various
kinds of infections and complications.

10. Chemotherapy and
radiation can cause cancer cells to mutate and become resistant and
difficult to destroy. Surgery can also cause cancer cells to spread to
other sites.

11. An effective way to battle cancer is to STARVE the cancer cells by not feeding it with foods it needs to multiple.

What cancer cells feed on:

a. Sugar is a cancer-feeder.
By cutting off sugar it cuts off one
important food supply to the cancer cells. Note: Sugar substitutes like
NutraSweet, Equal, Spoonful, etc are made with Aspartame and it is
harmful. A better natural substitute would be Manuka honey or molasses
but only in very small amounts. Table salt has a chemical added to make
it white in colour. Better alternative is Bragg’s aminos or sea salt.

b. Milk
causes the body to produce mucus, especially in the
gastro-intestinal tract. Cancer feeds on mucus. By cutting off milk and
substituting with unsweetened soy milk, cancer cells will starved.

c. Cancer cells thrive in an acid environment.
A meat-based diet is
acidic and it is best to eat fish, and a little chicken rather than beef
or pork. Meat also contains livestock antibiotics, growth hormones and
parasites, which are all harmful, especially to people with cancer.

d. A diet made of 80% fresh vegetables and juice, whole grains, seeds,
nuts and a little fruits help put the body into an alkaline environment.

About 20% can be from cooked food including beans. Fresh vegetable
juices provide live enzymes that are easily absorbed and reach down to
cellular levels within 15 minutes to nourish and enhance growth of
healthy cells.

To obtain live enzymes for building healthy
cells try and drink fresh vegetable juice (most vegetables including
bean sprouts) and eat some raw vegetables 2 or 3 times a day. Enzymes
are destroyed at temperatures of 104 degrees F (40 degrees C).

e. Avoid coffee, tea, and chocolate, which have high caffeine
. Green tea
is a better alternative and has cancer-fighting properties. Water–best
to drink purified water, or filtered, to avoid known toxins and heavy
metals in tap water. Distilled water is acidic, avoid it.

Meat protein is difficult to digest and requires a lot of digestive
enzymes. Undigested meat remaining in the intestines will become
putrified and leads to more toxic buildup.

13. Cancer cell
walls have a tough protein covering. By refraining from or eating less
meat it frees more enzymes to attack the protein walls of cancer cells
and allows the body’s killer cells to destroy the cancer cells.

14. Some supplements build up the immune system (IP6, Flor-ssence,
Essiac, anti-oxidants, vitamins, minerals, EFAs etc.) to enable the
body’s own killer cells to destroy cancer cells. Other supplements like
vitamin E are known to cause apoptosis, or programmed cell death, the
body’s normal method of disposing of damaged, unwanted, or unneeded

15. Cancer is a disease of the mind, body, and spirit. A
proactive and positive spirit will help the cancer warrior be a

Anger, unforgiving and bitterness put the body into a
stressful and acidic environment. Learn to have a loving and forgiving
spirit. Learn to relax and enjoy life.

16. Cancer cells cannot
thrive in an oxygenated environment. Exercising daily, and deep
breathing help to get more oxygen down to the cellular level.
therapy is another means employed to destroy cancer cells.

$25 Can Go A Long Way

I’m a Kiva lender. I work with to
help alleviate poverty through micro-lending. I’m one of 700,000 who
have made investments as little as $25 in food shops, vegetable co-ops,
child care centers and the like, in places like Congo, Tajikistan, and
Cambodia. It’s a way to help bring political stability and quality of
life to developing parts of the world, and do so with kindness instead
of guns, drones, tanks or rhetoric.

nothing can stabilize life more than grassroots economic empowerment.
Take the economic leverage out of the hands of dictators and put it in
the hands of the people. Then see what real, honest democracy looks

Simply put,
Kiva … works. Those seeking loans apply and submit their stories.
Local orgs coordinate with larger orgs to complete the loan process and
fund the recipients. They sign repayment guarantees on their honor in
front of their families and communities.

As a
lender, you don’t earn interest on these loans, but you have the
tremendous satisfaction of knowing you’ve directly and vitally changed
people’s lives for the better. As a person of faith and follower of the
Golden Rule, that’s all the interest I need.

And I’ve
had great success with Kiva! Since 2008, my Foundation and I have made
twenty-one loans to small groups and individuals.
Most of the
loans I’ve chosen to fund are to women, or groups headed by women, and
in countries and regions where women are typically oppressed or whose
voices are not heard. I believe that when we empower women in this way,
we make the world a kinder and better place.

As of today, every cent I loaned has been repaid. To me, this is
remarkable — think of the default rate in most lending situations. The
result is that I currently have funds sitting in my Kiva account,
waiting to be re-invested. I’d like you to help me choose where to allocate it.

Here’s what I’d love you to do:

  • Visit and look at the current loan requests. These are heart-rending stories of real people who want to get ahead in life.
  • Leave the name of the person or group who most appeals to you as a comment on this blog. Include a blurb about why it appeals to you, if you like.
  • I’ll pick the top three and make the investment on your behalf with my dollars.
  • If you are as inspired as I am by the whole process, you may become a
Kiva lender yourself. It just takes a few minutes to sign up, and you
can loan as little as $25.

I am really excited to see how this will go. PLEASE participate. It costs you nothing, and can help change lives!

Amanda Palmer – the art of asking

This is so inspiring…so thought provoking.
Why you should listen
to her:

Amanda Palmer commands attention. The singer-songwriter-blogger-provocateur, known for pushing boundaries in both her art and her lifestyle,
made international headlines this year when she raised nearly $1.2
million via Kickstarter (she’d asked for $100k) from nearly 25,000 fans
who pre-ordered her new album, Theatre Is Evil.
the former street performer, then Dresden Dolls frontwoman, now solo
artist hit a bump the week her world tour kicked off. She revealed plans
to crowdsource additional local backup musicians in each tour stop,
offering to pay them in hugs, merchandise and beer per her custom.
Bitter and angry criticism ensued (she eventually promised to pay her
local collaborators in cash). And it’s interesting to consider why. As
Laurie Coots suggests: “The idea was heckled because we didn’t
understand the value exchange — the whole idea of asking the crowd for
what you need when you need it and not asking for more or less.”

Summing up her business model,
in which she views her recorded music as the digital equivalent of
street performing, she says: “I firmly believe in music being as free as
possible. Unlocked. Shared and spread. In order for artists to survive
and create, their audiences need to step up and directly support them.”

Selling Everything – Except the Yorkshire Terrier!

How much is your all your stuff worth? And could you part with EVERYTHING, to move and start over??

How much is a life worth? If you ask Kerry Hogan, he’d say about $1.1
million, as that’s the price tag he’s put on his worldly possessions.

The 51-year-old Winnipeg native and owner of Gags Unlimited is
selling almost everything he owns: his fully furnished house, car, boat,
RV, as well as his business, on the listing website Kijiji. He’s doing
this, he said, because he wants a change in his life.

“I’ve always needed new experiences, and I’ve always needed new
thrills, and I guess I’m a bit of a thrill-seeker, but I don’t want to
endanger my life doing it,” he said.

So why not sell it all and leave the country ?

While he’s selling everything for $1.1 million, he said he’s unsure of the actual value.

“I don’t know, and I don’t think I want to. It’s all relative. I got
pictures hanging on the wall that I might have paid 400 bucks for. What
is it worth? Nobody is going to pay me 400, I don’t think. But would
they pay me two, or would they pay me 20 bucks? I don’t know how to
evaluate that,” he said.

His plan, he said, is to go to Mexico to buy a small bed-and-breakfast.

The only things he doesn’t plan on selling are a few personal items:
pictures, records, some clothes and his dog. Though the Yorkshire
terrier is on sale in the listing, Hogan said the dog will either go
with him or stay with his adult daughter. Everything else, people can

” It’s just stuff. I’d like to part with
it. I’d want to know what it feels like not to own all of this and all
the stuff that comes with it,” he said.

The listing has got a lot of attention, with about 39,000 views since
it went up Feb. 19. He said he’s got few firm offers. A couple of
people offered to buy parts of the listing, but he said he’s only
selling it as a package.

He said he’s also been getting emails from people with cancer, stroke
victims and others, encouraging him and telling him how his story made
them rethink their lives.

“I had one email that said, ‘You’re a game-changer and you’re going to do great.’ “

“People sit around waiting for something to happen. They wake up
every morning and they go to a job they don’t like, shovel snow in a
house they can’t afford. They just do it, day in, day out,” he said.
“I’m single, I live in a large house by myself, I go to bed at night
alone, I wake up alone, and I’m sitting there: ‘Wow, what am I waiting

12-12-12 thru 12-21-12 – what does it mean?

Well, it’s December 2012…finally. Is your mind reeling with
possibilities? Your heart swelling with expectations? Your body anxious
to house more of YOU? Your spirit so very ready to connect with Home in
this new way? Are the many possibilities racing through your mind and
heart about the grand Expiration Date of 12-21-12? Are you as ready for the 12-12-12 through 12-21-12 shift-point as
you possibly can be? Do you have any fears, worries or confusions about
this monumental transition we’re about to traverse…many of us while in
our physical bodies?

In Cosmic Awareness’s message below, he/It/they talk about a Key in the Heart and include a great meditation/visualization about using this key to access and interact with your personal inner “God drop” as Sandra Walter — who I also only recently discovered thanks to another reader — called it that exists within our hearts. See how many of the different Ascension Teachers—both incarnate and not—have been making these interesting connections during this 2012 autumn? This too is an aspect of the December 12-12-12 through 12-21-12 shift-point trigger energies. It’s also how those of us who’ve been scattered far and wide and flying under the radar of Team Dark, isolated in our locations for decades and lifetimes, are being increasingly and openly connected for all involved. Here comes the new High Heart blueprints and ways.

The Ancient Mayan calendar speaks of
12-12-2012 as the end of times as we know it, and the beginning of a
new cycle of evolution for planet earth, humanity and the cosmos. Mayan
elders say that the Ancients were informing the modern world to be ready
for a giant transformation for the human race. Interestingly,
traditions across the world including Buddhism, Tao, Hopi and Vedic
knowledge predict a ‘Golden Age’ or ‘Satyug’ in their calendars around
the same period. December 2012 is being looked upon as a significant
spiritual event and a momentous shift in the collective consciousness of
the planet.

12-12-12 is a beautiful opportunity for
transformation and healing on a personal and global level. We are
invited to allow the supportive energies of Mother Earth to open our
hearts and be ready for expansion.

In a very real sense what occurs on the 12-12-12 is the Ascension,
and what takes place on December 21, 2012is the Initial Birthing
Solstice of the New Earth. That is because the ‘mechanics’ of the actual
ascending process (that enables the Ascension) occurs on the 12-12-12.

Accordingly it is what happens on December 12, 2012 that finalizes
the activations and network-connections of all the Master Crystals,
Crystalline Fields, Grid Points, Power Nodes, & Vortexial-Portal
Sites to the Crysto-Sun Disc and 144 Grid.

On the 12-12-12, for the first time, all of these crucial aspects
combine, network and tie into the completed 144 Crystalline Grid. At
precisely 12:12 pm from the Crystal Vortex, will the ascending energy
merge and be tangibly felt. All will tie initially into the Crysto Sun
Disc of Pinnacle Mountain located in the largest strata of Crystal on
your planet, and then connect to the grid.

spiritualists, astrologers, and other people involved in “New Age”
religions or other approaches to spirituality think December 21, 2012
(or December 12, 2012) is going to be a big day.
They say
that the ancient Mayan calendar’s cycle will stop and then restart then,
and that something significant will take place. Their predictions range
from cataclysmic events to the world being “reborn” Dec. 21, 2012 (or
Dec. 12, 2012).

Kiam Moriya, from Birmingham Alabama, was born on December 12, 2000 12 minutes after midday, in Bronxville, New York.

“It’s like one minute out of a whole lifetime,” Kiam told “You know, it’s all 12s.”

HOW COOL IS THAT??Do you think he is going to be special? I think so!

Cloud Atlas Comes to Film!

CLOUD ATLAS is a new movie everyone is talking about!   It’s An exploration of how the actions of individual lives impact one another
in the past, present and future, as one soul is shaped from a killer
into a hero, and an act of kindness ripples across centuries to inspire a
revolution. Each encounter we have with someone affects our lives and our roads we take in life.

The lavish cinematisation of David Mitchell’s sci-fi yarn could become the first genuine art-house blockbuster. But will it?

The transformation of British writer David Mitchell’s Cloud Atlas novel into an outrageously ambitious wannabe blockbuster with a purported budget of at least $100m really is one of the marvels of 21st century film-making. While Hollywood bean counters wring their hands and promise more austerity each time a movie such as John Carter haemorrhages cash, elsewhere in the world (Germany in this case) funds have somehow been raised for a labyrinthine assembly of interconnected, fractured existential vignettes with a cast packed with Oscar-winners and a near three-hour running time.
